Marc-André Séguin, CPA

President and Founder

Founder of the company, Marc-André Séguin has developed advanced expertise in executive management and real estate through several years as an accountant, senior executive, and real estate investor.

Mr. Séguin started his career at a large national accounting firm and later joined the Brigil Group, one of the largest real estate developers and owners in Quebec and the Ottawa-Gatineau region. There, he held various roles in corporate financial management, real estate management, asset management, and within the Construction and Development team, where he served as Vice-President of Finance. He then joined Smart Living Properties, a developer, builder, and property manager specializing in affordable housing and student residences in Ottawa, where he held the role of Vice-President of Finance.

Marc-André has developed expertise in end-to-end real estate business management: land acquisition, real estate development, construction management, marketing, leasing, and stabilized operations. This multidisciplinary experience has allowed him to develop advanced expertise in cash flow management based on meeting schedules and budgets.

With extensive experience in dealing with lenders and investors, he has also developed unique expertise in strategic financial communication with stakeholders. This dynamic leader has also built a strong operational background, contributing to the realization of hundreds of millions in real estate construction, thousands of housing units, and the management of over a hundred employees.

His other related mandates include business restructuring, finance team development, business incubation, and the implementation of new technologies.

Marc-André is also an investor and real estate developer, managing a portfolio of assets with his team. Passionate about Real Estate and business in general, he understands the reality of entrepreneurs and aims to share his expertise to contribute to the success of a greater number of businesses and projects.

Gisèle Prévost, CPA, TEP, L.L.M. Tax

Chair of the Board, Chief Tax Officer, Mentor

Mrs. Prévost is the mentor of the team and the specialist in corporate taxation and real estate. After a career as a partner in a national accounting firm, she opened her own tax advisory firm, Gisèle Prévost CPA Inc. A true authority in her field, she serves the most exclusive clients in the real estate world. Highly involved in the Association de planification fiscale et financière du Québec (APFF, Quebec’s Tax And Financial Planners’ Association), she presides over the APFF symposium on real estate taxation. She is also part of the organizing committee for the annual APFF congress, and is engaged in regional activities. In 2023, she receives the prestigious APFF Volunteer of the Year award for her involvement and the quality of her writings and presentations. Séguin is very privileged to have Mrs Prévost on board with over 35 years of experience in the field of advisory services for entrepreneurs and real estate investors.

Anik Leclerc

Project Manager

As the first real estate partner of the Séguin group, Anik is an experienced investor and a founding member of the firm. She oversees the operational and administrative aspects of the business. Boasting an innate talent for management and initiative, she uses her interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills, to drive the business’ initiatives and guarantees we remain focused on our clients’ needs. 

Jocelyn Racine

Jocelyn Racine is a seasoned senior executive, recognized for his exceptional leadership in the business world. As a consulting CFO & COO at Séguin, he brings in-depth expertise and a strategic vision in financial, legal, operational, commercial, and human resources domains. Having successfully orchestrated multiple rounds of debt and equity financing, he has demonstrated a remarkable ability to lead executive teams and negotiate business acquisitions and divestitures. His expertise extends to business restructuring and transformation, performance improvement, and the implementation of rigorous internal controls for strong governance. His pragmatic approach includes strategic planning, the development of annual and quarterly operational plans, financial and operational analysis, cash flow management, and the implementation of cost accounting systems, all with a focus on optimizing financial results. Mr. Racine excels in designing financing strategies, developing KPIs, integrating the EOS management system, and ISO-9001 standards. His extensive experience on boards of directors as well as CEO, and his competence in negotiating complex agreements, make him as a valuable asset for Séguin, inspiring confidence and ambition among our clients.
